Keep Plastic Bags out of the Curbside Recycling Carts

Plastic bags are a common contaminant in curbside recycling.  Please remember to keep your recycling loose and never put recyclables in plastic bags.

Other types of plastic film that does not belong in the blue commingle recycling cart include; zip lock baggies, saran wrap, paper towel wrapping, newspaper wrap, bubble wrap, and garbage bags.

Some plastic bags and plastic film can be recycled at participating grocery stores.  Go to www.plasticfilmrecycling.org for more information.
