Redmond Touch A Truck Event

Thanks to everyone who came out for the Redmond Park & Rec Touch A Tuck event last Saturday at Redmond high school.  The kids were excited to see their neighborhood High Country Disposal garbage truck at the event and get a chance to climb inside!

2019 City of Sisters Free Residential Spring Clean Up Event

High Country Disposal will provide free collection of yard debris, miscellaneous household waste and appliances on Tuesday, May 7 or Wednesday, May 8, 2019. Collection is only for residents within the city of Sisters. 

When and where to set out materials: Collection day will be the same day as regular garbage service on May 7 or May 8. All material should be set out by 7:00 am in the same general location as garbage roll carts.

What to set out: Free collection is limited to the following:

  • Up to four cubic yards of yard debris and/or miscellaneous household waste. Please separate yard debris for recycling. Bag all loose items. Tree branches no longer than 4 feet. (Four yards = a regular pickup truck filled to the cab.)
  • Up to four appliances. All appliances must be emptied of food, water, clothing, etc.

What not to set out: Material/Items not accepted include: sod, dirt, rocks, large furniture (i.e. couches), mattresses, hazardous waste, chemicals, paint, tires, heavy metal objects, toilets and lawn mowers.

2019 Free Yard Debris Recycling Event

Residents can recycle yard debris for free during the FireFree event. Yard debris must be clean; no rocks, dirt, garbage or plastic bags.

Free Residential Shred Event

SecureShred has teamed up with Mid Oregon Credit Union to provide Central Oregonians a safe method for disposing of personal documents.

The free shred events will take place at Mid Oregon Credit Union branches in Bend, Madras, Prineville and Redmond.

This free event is intended for residential shredding only, no commercial or business shredding provided. There is no cost to the public for up to 4 banker size boxes of personal documents. No sorting necessary, personal documents with staples and paperclips are fine.

Please remember no plastic bags or 3 ring binders accepted.
