Free Residential Shred and Drug Disposal Event

When: Saturday, June 23, 2018

10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Where: Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office

703 N. Larch Street, Sisters

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office and SecureShred are partnering to provide residents the opportunity to safely destroy personal documents for free.

The event is intended for private residential document shredding only, no commercial or business shredding provided.

No advance document sorting necessary. Staples, paperclips and file folders are okay. No plastic bags or 3 ring binders accepted.

Drug Disposal:

At the event, the Sheriff’s Office will also have a deputy available to collect outdated or unwanted prescription medication or over-the-counter drugs.

Donate a Non-Perishable Food:

The Sheriff’s Office is asking event participants to bring a donation of non-perishable food to benefit Kiwanis food bank of Sisters.
