Christmas Tree Recycling

Some of the local Boy Scout troops will be collecting Christmas trees for recycling in your community the weekends of January 2nd & 3rd and January 9th & 10th. They are requesting a tax deductible donation of $5.00. 100% of the money raised will go directly to the individual Scout troop.

Individual troops in your area will post door flyers specifying which days they will be picking up trees in your neighborhood. For more information, please call the numbers listed below.

541-385-3989 for pick up in Redmond

541-385-2640 for pick up in Sisters

High Country Disposal will collect your tree on your garbage day the week of January 11 – 15 for a $5 charge. Set your tree out next to your roll cart.

For customers with curbside yard debris service, you can recycle your Christmas tree in your yard debris cart. Cut the tree down to 3 or 4 smaller pieces and put it in your yard debris cart.

At no charge, Negus Transfer Station in Redmond, NW Transfer Station on Fryrear Road, and The Sisters Recycle Center will take Christmas trees through January 31st, 2016. Trees must be free of flocking and tinsel.
