Christmas Tree Recycling

Boy Scout Troops will be picking up Christmas trees for recycling in Redmond, Terrebonne, and Eagle Crest on Saturday, December 27, 2014 and Saturday, January 3, 2015.

Please have trees cleaned of all lights, decorations and tinsel. Please trees at the edge of the curb or a location that is visible from the road by 9:00 am.

A tax-deductible donation of $5.00 is appreciated. Place your donation in a plastic bag and securely attach it to your tree with a rubber band.

Residents in Eagle Crest, Terrebonne and outside Redmond city limits, please call 541-385-3989 to provide the pickup address. All other areas, no reservation is required.

If you require a Christmas tree pick up after January 4, 2015, High Country Disposal will collect your tree on your garbage day the week of January 5 – 9 for a $5 charge by setting your tree out next to your roll cart.

Customers with curbside yard debris service can recycling their Christmas tree in your yard debris cart. Cut the tree down to 3 or 4 smaller pieces and put it in your yard debris cart.

At no charge, Negus Transfer Station in Redmond, NW Transfer Station on Fryrear Road, and The Sisters Recycle Center will take Christmas trees through January 31st, 2015. Trees must be free of flocking and tinsel.
